Your credit report directly impacts your ability to obtain a credit card, buy a car or home, rent an apartment, or even get a new job. Knowing how to read it, understanding how to increase your credit score, and correcting inaccurate information are in your best interest.
Reviewing your credit report today with an RDI Financial Consultant can help you correct problems now and avoid them in the future. A credit report review can also help you protect yourself from identity theft.
If you haven’t done so already, get your free credit report today from www.annualcreditreport.com. You may obtain your credit report for free once each year from each of the three credit bureaus (Equifax, TransUnion, and Experian). RDI Consultants recommend that you start with one agency, pull your report and review, then three months later pull your report from the second agency. Wait another three months and pull your report from the third agency. This way you are able to monitor your credit report all year for free.
You can also call or click here to make an appointment with RDI for an in-depth credit report counseling session. We can help you make sense of your report, your score and how they should influence your money management decisions. There is a small fee for pulling your credit reports that will depend on if you want all three reports and a score or just one report and score.
Credit report counseling sessions are available over the phone or in-person. During your session, a certified RDI credit report Consultant will review your credit report, help you understand it, explain your rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and offer guidance on how to correct inaccurate information.
We can provide the report as part of the review, or you can obtain the credit report on your own. If you are interested in a credit report review please call 877.275.2227 or click here.
